Lancaster City | The Makers’ Capital

“Our city is establishing itself as the “Makers’ Capital”–as entrepreneurs, artists, innovators, and creators of all kinds allow themselves to wonder–and from those wonderings, ideas are birthed, vision is cultivated, artistry is celebrated, and restoration and transformation are given room to breathe.” – Fig Lancaster

Few things are more fitting than a feature of MAKE films in the Make & Believe section of Fig’s Fall Arts & Culture issue. We are honored they selected us to be included in this issue alongside so many talented Lancaster makers.

View our feature in their digital issue here.

Fig was a wonderful partner and collaborator to work with. They listened to our concept for the image that accompanied our feature, and helped us execute it flawlessly! Just look at the final product…I mean they totally made us look awesome, right?

The Fall Issue launched at Fig Lancaster’s Bowtie Bash, an event held at the Fulton Theatre that celebrated both their Fall Issue and Mayor Rick Gray. At the event, we filmed a new episode of Wild & Precious Now. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our step and repeat, and to Fig for a wonderful evening and tribute to Mayor Gray and the growth that Lancaster City has seen in arts and culture!

Check out these behind the scenes shots at the event, captured by Joel Crowley.
