Recognized as the premier award for honoring cable TV commercials and programs from around the globe, the Telly Awards are widely known and well respected. For the 41st Annual Telly Awards, there were over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and across 5 continents. As a Lancaster-based video production company, MAKE/FILMS is proud to announce that we have been named a 41st Annual Telly Award Gold, Silver, and Bronze winner in three separate categories.

Meet Lower Back Pain

CLIENT: BAACK2

PROJECT: Meet Lower Back Pain

AWARD: Gold Telly Winner in Promotional Video: Use of Humor

The Gold Telly is an honor exclusively awarded to the top 3% of Telly Awards winning entries. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this happen, including Brand & Circus, and of course thank you to BAACK2 for trusting us to bring your vision to life.

ABOUT THE PROJECT: You know Back Pain, right? His undying companionship follows your every move. Well we’d like to introduce you to your new BFF and Back Pain’s worst enemy.

Meet Lift: the physician-engineered equipment that provides relief from Back Pain. After people use it, Back Pain is shut out of their lives and watching from the outside in.

Would You?

CLIENT: Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital

PROJECT: Would You?

AWARD: Silver Telly Winner in Regional TV: Miscellaneous

ABOUT THE PROJECT: MAKE/ was the production partner for TILT, an agency out of Michigan, and worked with them to bring this commercial to life for Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health. We had a blast guiding the out of town agency to local spots that best represented the client, the script, and Lancaster. When you work with a group of creatives who put egos aside and just want to make a great commercial for their client, magic happens.

#Timeback

AWARD: Bronze Telly Winner in Branded Content: Campaign: Social

ABOUT THE PROJECT: Tattoo Projects hired MAKE/ to help Sheetz give their fans time back to do more of the things they love. Learn more about the campaign at sheetztimeback.com.

HISTORY OF THE TELLY AWARDS

The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 to honor excellence in local, regional and cable television commercials with non-broadcast video and television programming added soon after. With the recent evolution and rise of digital video (web series, VR, 360 and beyond), the Telly Awards today also reflects and celebrates this exciting new era of the moving image on and offline.

The Telly Awards annually showcases the best work created within television and across video, for all screens. Receiving over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents, Telly Award winners represent work from some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies and publishers from around the world. The Telly Awards recognizes work that has been created on the behalf of a client, for a specific brand and/or company (including your own) or self-directed as a creative endeavor.

Entrants are judged by The Telly Awards Judging Council—an industry body of over 200 leading experts including advertising agencies, production companies, and major television networks, reflective of the multiscreen industry and includes executives from Dow Jones, Duplass Brothers Productions, Complex Networks, A&E Networks, Hearst Media, ESPN Films, RYOT, Vice+ and Vimeo.
