MAKE/ Welcomes Amanda Ebright
Back in March, Amanda Ebright joined the MAKE/ team as a Strategic Assistant and has been a key member in keeping things moving since. So we thought it was high time to introduce you to Amanda through a quick Q & A!
Q & A
Lisbet: Tell me about your career path leading up to MAKE/.
Amanda: Prior to landing at MAKE/, I worked in the food industry completing purchasing and receiving and tracking the inventory for the product in the warehouse. Working for MAKE/ was quite the industry change, but with the skills and knowledge I acquired from my previous positions, it has helped me thrive in my position here at MAKE/ and I couldn’t be happier!
Lisbet: Who is ‘Amanda?’
Amanda: I married my high school sweetheart and we are now going on 11 years of marriage. I can’t believe how fast time is going. I am a mother to two handsome little boys and man do they keep me busy! Being a mother is no easy task, but it sure is rewarding and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. In my spare time (which is rare, ha) I love to bake! Cookies are my specialty. 🙂
Lisbet: Why do you get up in the morning? What gives you energy?
Amanda: Knowing that I have a family who loves me and counts on me!
Lisbet: What drew you to MAKE/?
Amanda: Honestly, there was an opportunity to help Derek (who happens to be my brother-in-law) and I just couldn’t resist! Being part of the MAKE/ team is definitely a dream come true!
Lisbet: What do you hope to accomplish at MAKE/?
Amanda: To continue to grow within the company and see the continued success that the company deserves and be a part of a team who is not only creative, but who has become a family.
Lisbet: Is there anything else people should know about you?
Amanda: I happened to be in Pittsburg when the movie The Dark Knight Rises was being filmed and was able to stand inside the Macy’s store and watch some of the scenes. I saw the flying batmobile and everything. It was pretty amazing and something that I’ll never forget!
