MAKE/ Welcomes Jordan Velez (Again!)

Last month we welcomed our former production intern Jordan Velez back to MAKE/, this time as a full time employee with the title “Coordinator.” We’re thrilled to have Jordan join our crew again, especially after she gained invaluable experience working as a production coordinator on our film Brave the Dark this fall. Keep an eye out for Jordan on set, in the studio, and out and about in Downtown Lancaster!

Lisbet: “Who is ‘Jordan’?”
Jordan: “Jordan is a hardworking and very self-motivated person who just recently graduated college and who just got her first job. She has a large family and loves to spend time with them.”
Lisbet: “Why do you get up in the morning? What gives you energy?”
Jordan: “I get up in the morning because I love what I do for a living and being new to that gives me the energy and excitement to be able to come in and keep learning and growing, both personally and professionally.”
Lisbet: “What excites you about the film industry?”
Jordan: “There are just so many different types of projects that you’ll work on and none of them will ever be exactly the same. I find it so exciting to be able to work on a variety of projects and be able to tell each of those stories in their own ways.”
Lisbet: “What drew you to MAKE/?”
Jordan: “I was drawn to MAKE/ because of the variety and sizes of projects that the company takes on. The content is so creative in each project but all executed very well. I was also drawn to MAKE/ because of how many women work here in large and important roles. That was inspiring to see as someone who was just entering the male dominated film industry.”
Lisbet: “What do you hope to accomplish at MAKE/?”
Jordan: “I hope to accomplish so many things at MAKE/. One being that I hope to get a hands on learning experience with new roles that I haven’t done before. I also hope to to tell a lot of stories that leave a lasting impact on viewers.”
