As a DP, and person in general, I’m equally driven by my connection to the people I collaborate with as the stories we’re trying to tell. My goal is always to get to a place with the director and crew where we don’t even need to talk too much on set, because we already did that in pre-production. This lets all of us stay in that creative flow, you know, the fun part of filmmaking, so we can give the project what is asks for.

My approach is rooted in efficiency, trust, and respect for the bigger picture. I see cinematography not as a way to impose style, but as a way to amplify meaning, emotion, and rhythm within the story. Kind of like how a bassist outlines chords in a musical progression. Whether capturing an intimate moment in a documentary or designing bold visuals for a commercial, my goal is always the same: to create images that feel alive and true in accordance with the director’s vision and the story’s needs.
