Life as a parent doesn’t stop, it’s continuous and keeps going, so for this Chicco product video we thought, "why should the camera stop moving?" See for yourself.
Chicco is an Italian manufacturer of children's clothing and toys with retail outlets worldwide. Owned by Artsana, Chicco has been in business for 60 years and is now in more than 120 countries.
This was a fun product video project because it was all shot in three continuous takes using our Arri Mini-LF camera on a Movi stabilizer. We spent a lot of time lighting and blocking the movement, and then just executed, so it felt really straightforward and yet told the story that Chicco wanted to tell about their product.
Chicco chose to partner with MAKE/FILMS to produce a product video demonstrating the helpfulness of their SideKick Plus 3-in-1 Hip Carrier for parents who are on the go. We demonstrated this by keeping the camera and people moving through all scenes seamlessly. We filmed in the lovely downtown Lititz, PA. There, we filmed downtown shopping with delicious cupcakes from Sugar Whipped Bakery and feeding the ducks at the Lititz Springs Park which our younger talent enjoyed!
