Introduction

Sometimes highlighting a single service across multiple projects is the best way to show our work. Especially when it comes to visual effects, which take different forms in different films. This case study features just a handful of the ways we use visual effects at MAKE/FILMS.

The takeaway

As filmmakers, we respect cinema. Authenticity is important to us, and we want to show that on screen. But sometimes, visual effects are needed. And, let’s be honest, they’re fun. Add something or take it away. Repair something or damage it. The possibilities are imaginative and endless.

But no matter the ask or need, there’s one important thing to keep in mind: visual effects should be intentional and discussed early on in the project.

Clients featured in this case study:

Victor, LCSWMA, Brenntag, Tower Health (previously Reading Health System), Lancaster County Community Foundation, Attollo, The Exterior Company, GRIT for ACNB Bank and NWSB Bank, Quench for Herr’s, Flagger Force, MAKE original, Shefan Solutions, TERRO, Frontline Education, and Anderson Group for Armstrong Flooring and Marineland.
